The 4th Annual Conference of The Center for AI and Data Science at Tel Aviv University (TAD)

The annual event of TAD took place on March 26, 2025, at the Steinhardt Museum of Natural History.

Prof. Meir Feder, the outgoing head of TAD, gave the opening words and presented the various activities in AI and data science that were promoted by the center in the past two years, including funding of research, promoting new collaborations, and initiating new education programs.

Prof. Nadav Cohen (Computer Science and TAD management), presented the keynote speaker: Prof. Oren Etzioni (University of Washington; Founding CEO, AIlen Institute for AI; Founder, Vercept and TrueMedia) on "AI, Promise or Peril".

The event included lectures by TAD members who presented successful research projects supported by the center. 

Idan Szpektor from Google presented a research project done in collaboration with researchers at TAU.

The event included a farewell ceremony for the head of TAD Prof. Meir Feder and an introduction of the new head of TAD, Prof. Yishay Mansour.
