Prof. Saharon Rosset (Statistics and TAD academic management) is the co-head of a new BSc program in Data Science at Tel Aviv University. The new program will provide students with in-depth education that combines mathematics, statistics, data engineering and different fields of applications.
The program offers a unique combination of courses from Exact Sciences and Engineering. The program will enable the students a quick and better integration into the industry.
Prof. Rosset was interviewed about the new BSc program in YNET. He talked about the two previous years that revealed the enormous impact of data science on our lives. The students in the program will acquire the tools that will allow them to address the challenges of Data Science and provide solutions for complex real-life problems in data-rich domains.
