TAD ColabAI Workshop - Promoting innovative and creative collaborations in AI and Data Science

The Center for AI and Data Science (TAD) at Tel Aviv University held during September its third ColabAI workshop.

The workshops bring together TAD members from all over the campus to foster new interdisciplinary collaborations and to promote innovative and creative research in  artificial intelligence and data science.

The workshops were developed by Dr. Shiri Stempler, Director of Scientific Programs and Collaborations at TAD, aiming to provide a unique place for faculty members to meet and brainstorm.

Prof. Meir Feder, Head of TAD, presented in the workshop the achievements of TAD in the past two years, including fostering and funding many new research collaborations (See TAD's biennial report).

The workshop hosted among others Prof. Leo Corry, who gave a fascinating lecture about historical collaborations between mathematicians and physicists on the way to the theory of general relativity in Germany.

We thank all the participants in the workshop. The center plans to continue holding additional ColabAI workshops in the future to promote creative research and collaborations in the field.
