Prof. Amir Globerson

Computer Science

Amir Globerson is a Professor at the Tel Aviv University School of Computer Science since 2015. His research interests include machine learning, probabilistic inference, machine vision and natural language processing. He was an associate editor for the Journal of Machine Learning Research, as well as the Associate Editor in Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence. His work has received several prizes including five paper awards at NIPS, UAI and ICML. In 2018 he served as program co-chair for the UAI conference, in 2019 he was the general co-chair for UAI in Tel Aviv, and in 2020 was Associate Program Chair at IJCAI. In 2019 he received the ERC consolidator grant.
