Dr. Vered Blass
Porter School for the Environment and Earth Sciences
Vered Blass holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is heading the innovations in industrial ecology research lab at the Porter School of the Environment and Earth Sciences in Tel Aviv University. Her research is positioned at the interface of industrial ecology and management sciences, focusing on decision making and the measurement of economic and environmental performance, using a diverse set of tools and analysis methods including big data sets and machine learning methods. Her research agenda spans topics ranging from electronic waste, switching to new business models, circular economy, LCA methods, and transport and mobility electrifications. Dr. Blass engages with colleagues and institutions at different levels in the industry, government, NGO’s and the academic community both in Israel and abroad to promote her research and professional agendas. She is playing an active role in initiating and promoting joint projects in the different research groups in which she takes part.
