Research work
Roni Katzir is an Associate Professor in the Department of Linguistics and a member of the Sagol School of Neuroscience.
His work uses mathematical and computational tools to study questions about linguistic cognition, such as how humans represent and learn their knowledge of language and how they use this knowledge to make inferences and contribute to discourse.
He received his BSc, in Mathematics, from Tel Aviv University and his PhD, in Linguistics, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
He heads Tel Aviv University's Computational Linguistics Lab and the undergraduate program in Computational Linguistics.
