Joachim Meyer is the Celia and Marcos Maus Professor of Data Sciences in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Tel Aviv University.
He holds an M.A. in Psychology and a Ph.D. (1994) in Industrial Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel.
He was on the faculty of the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, was a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School, a research scientist at the M.I.T. Center for Transportation Studies, and a visiting professor at the M.I.T. MediaLab.
He studies human interaction with intelligent systems that utilize advanced automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He is an elected fellow of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society.
