Research work
Jonathan Ben-Dov studies the Bible, the Dead Sea Scrolls and apocalyptic literature as part of the ancient world in the 1st millenium BCE. He has published widely in those fields and serves on various editorial boards.
He is co-director of the project Scripta Qumranica Electronica, which provides access to the Dead Sea Scrolls and tools to research them in open access. He is co-author of an upcoming monograph: Material and Digital Reconstruction of Fragmentary Scrolls: the Case of 4Q418a.
