Dr. Inbal Yahav

Dr. Inbal Yahav has a Bachelor in Computer Science and a Master in Information Systems from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion). Eight years of work at Bar Ilan University. She received her Ph.D. in Optimization and Data Mining from the University of Maryland in 2010, where she continued to work as a visiting faculty member for two years. Dr. Yahav joined The Coller School of Management in 2019 as a (tenured) senior lecturer, after eight years working at the Bar Ilan University.

Most of her work focuses on the development and adaptation of statistical models for use by researchers in the information systems. In her research, Dr. Yahav incorporates data mining algorithms, natural language processing, and optimization models to produce complex statistical models, with high predictability. She applies these methods mainly to public health applications and cybersecurity.
