Dr. Eshbal Ratzon is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities, Department of Jewish Philosophy and the History & Philosophy of Science Institute at Tel Aviv University.

She is an expert in the fields of Dead Sea Scrolls, Second Temple Literature, Ancient Science, Ancient Calendars, Astronomy and Cosmology, Digital Humanities, and Digital Editions and Reconstructions.

She has published numerous articles on these topics. Her co-authored book "Material and Digital Reconstruction of Fragmentary Dead Sea Scrolls: The Case of 4Q418a" provides digital humanities methodologies for the study of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Her projects related to AI include "Word Embedding for the Aramaic Dialects," funded by the Cogito Foundation and "Dating the Dead Sea Scrolls to the using computational linguistics tools, funded by TAD. In both she serves as co-PI.
